“I paint my life and I don’t separate it from my work. Stillness, beautiful spaces, jolly company and a great cocktail.”

I didn’t set out to paint a concept but the more I painted, the more I realized I was painting a way of life. A life I have chosen very deliberately.

In a world that often feels like it’s pulling things apart and asking us to stand for something different, and that most of our choices and interest are public and scrutinized, I found myself trying to hold onto what felt good and what I wanted.

I aim to paint and celebrate the wonderful moments of daily existence, whether it’s the leisurely moments of arranging flowers (with a mimosa if you may), taking a little siesta, or in the loud company of musicians. 

My work is about atmosphere, its about a mood, the quiet strength in creating a beautiful home, a full life and the confidence to live it unashamed.

Some things are worth keeping and celebrating and thats what I paint.
